National Climate Assessment

The U.S. Global Change Research Program (http://globalchange.gov) is leading a nation-wide assessment activitiy (http://assessment.globalchange.gov) that will result in a 2013 National Climate Assessment Report.  A draft of the report will soon be available for public review and comment (mid-January, 2013).  This breakout session will summarize the activities of the assessment group and the 2013 report.  It will also discuss long term "sustainable assessment" plans for the team.
