Using NASA Data - Examples and Challenges

Using NASA data effectively requires agreements between data providers and users about critical metadata elements required for use and consistent application of conventions for those elements. This session will address use from both sides. We will present sample datasets and working code examples in MATLAB, Interactive Data Language (IDL), NCAR Command Language (NCL), and ESRI ArcMap. In addition, a number of common obstacles to data access will be described and demonstrated.
