Biography:
I have 28 years of mapping and GIS experience in New York State with progressive levels of responsibility and leadership. I have been a leading advocate on the use of GIS across the state and I have also been active in national GIS initiatives, particularly through my involvement in the National States Geographic Information Council (NSGIC). I served on the NSGIC Board of Directors from 1998-2005, including a term as NSGIC President for 2004. I was re-elected to the Board in 2012.
I am a 2003 graduate of the Leadership Classroom from the NYS Governor's Office of Employee Relations.
