Data System Architecture

Abstract/Agenda:
Earth Science data systems must be thoughtfully and throughly architected in support of end to end data lifecycle from data ingest, to processing, to management, to distribution and analysis. This session provides an opportunity for presentations and discussion of Earth Science data system architectures being developed, as well as existing architectures. We would like to explore various architectural approaches (e.g., current NSF EarthCube conceptual designs), and provide a forum to share current architectural efforts (e.g. NSF EarthCube and NASA ESDS Architecture working groups), and to share practical architectural concepts and experiences.
