(POSTER) docBUILDER-10 – GCMD’s Next Generation Metadata Authoring and Quality Assessment Tool

docBUILDER-10 beta is NASA’s Global Change Master Directory’s (GCMD) new web-based metadata authoring tool for adding or modifying Earth science metadata that complies with the Common Metadata Repository (CMR) Unified Metadata Model for Collections (UMM-C). Metadata authors can use the tool to validate, improve, and submit their metadata directly to the CMR. docBUILDER-10 writes metadata to the new DIF-10 format and includes the following new features: (1) Support for eight new and sixteen renamed fields; (2) New user interface and, (3) Real-time assessment of metadata quality.
