Overview of Data Discovery and Access at the ASDC

The Atmospheric Science Data Center (ASDC), in its role as an EOS-DIS Digital Active Archive Center (DAAC) has made substantial improvements to the way in which data is delivered. The architecture has been developed, in response to emerging customer needs, to support multiple paths for access. This poster provides an overview of the approach and how the various elements of data, metadata, and documentation are provided to the access methods, including conventional ordering, ESRI and GIS, OPeNDAP, and iRODS.
