Tracking Provenance with the Global Change Information System (GCIS)

Abstract: 

The U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP), a Federally mandated program composed of 13 government agencies, is developing a Global Change Information System (GCIS) to provide integrated access to global change research, data, and information across the program.  This poster illustrates the provenance-tracking capability of the GCIS.  Specifically, we discuss tracking provenance for the first large holding of the GCIS: the upcoming Third National Climate Assessment.
