What We Find on the Other Side of the Metadata Rabbit Hole

Metadata, we need to have good, long talk about what's happened to you. We're going to talk ways to address some of the systemic issues, some of the gaps and some of the limitations in current approaches up and down the documentation stack. Let's identify what's easily fixable (so much, really) and consider what it means to be a good (meta)data republisher. We might even get into the need for new approaches to highlight and rediscover how much value is in this stuff (we will).
