I am currently a Graduate Student and Research Assistant, pursuing my Master's in Atmospheric and Oceanic Science at The University of Wisconsin-Madison, working to expand my knowledge of atmospheric processes, technical expertise and operational meteorology skills.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Central Michigan University on May 5, 2012.
I serve as an instructor for the National Disaster Preparedness Training Center's "Social Media for Natural Disaster Response and Recovery" course and as a Student Fellow for the Federation of Earth Science Information Partners.
I am adept in operational meteorology and enjoy working both in the field and remotely, in support of active projects. I have both experience and formal training in emergency management, public service communications, hazardous materials response and social media applications for natural disaster response and recovery. I seek to obtain a career in the areas of outreach, education, decision support and field research operations.
