The poster session will be held on July 15 during the evening reception. Posters should be no larger than 3' x 4' (landscape). Posters and poster abstracts are submitted digitally to the ESIP Commons by creating an account if you don't have one already and then creating a poster. Choose the Summer 2015 Meeting for the event. All poster abstracts must be added by June 19, 2015 to be included in the printed program. After you've created your poster, please upload the digital image of your poster to your ESIP Commons poster page. These images will scroll at the registration desk throughout the duration of the meeting. Questions: email Erin ([email protected]).
Below are some sites that can help you create posters that are dynamic and hold the interest of your audience.
Hackerspaces are physical places where people share their interest in tinkering with technology, meet and work on their projects and learn from each other.
The ESIP Hackerspace will be available for anyone who wants to meet and create while at the ESIP Summer Meeting.
Groups can reserve part of the hackerspace by contacting Annie Burgess ([email protected]) prior to, or during, the meeting. Check availability here. If your group reserves the space, please know you’ll get part of the space as we’d like to keep the rest open for those who get an itch to do some on-the-fly hacking, i.e. this isn't intended to be a private meeting space.
This space is not limited to hacking on code... concepts, collaborations, and even a Wiki Cleanup are all fair game!
We’re excited to have so many virtual attendees and encourage you to participate in the meeting as much as possible. Below are a few ways to do so.
